It has been another exciting and successful half term of sport at Cropwell Bishop, with pupils continuing to represent the school with pride, determination and excellent teamwork across a range of events.
Our Year 5/6 Indoor Athletics team delivered an outstanding performance at the finals event, finishing in an impressive 2nd place overall and proudly taking home silver medals. This was a fantastic achievement and a real testament to their hard work, commitment and team spirit.
In football, the boys’ team secured a superb 4–2 away victory in the cup quarter-final, earning their place in the semi-finals. It was an excellent performance, showcasing both skill and resilience under pressure. The girls’ football team also continued their cup journey, representing the school brilliantly and showing clear improvement as a team, with growing confidence in their play.
Our Year 3/4 football team competed well at the Equals Trust football tournament, demonstrating great effort and sportsmanship throughout. In addition, pupils from across the school have enjoyed further opportunities to represent Cropwell Bishop at the Year 5/6 indoor festival and the Year 3/4 Queen/King Ball tournament.
Once again, we would like to extend a huge thank you to all the parents and carers who have supported us with transport to events across Nottinghamshire – we couldn’t provide these opportunities without your ongoing support.
