Pupil Premium 2026-27- Supporting Every Child to Thrive
Pupil Premium is additional funding provided to schools to help ensure that every child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. It enables us to provide additional support, resources and opportunities for pupils who may face barriers to learning, helping them to feel included, make progress and thrive both academically and personally.
Traditionally, Pupil Premium funding has supported pupils who are eligible for Free School Meals, as well as those who have been eligible at any point during the previous six years (known as the Ever 6 group).
For the academic year 2025–26, our allocation was £46,965. For 2026-27 our funding allocation is £48,475
From the academic year 2026–27, the introduction of Pupil Premium Expanded further recognises children who are currently eligible for Free School Meals, helping to strengthen the focus on supporting pupils and ensuring that funding reaches those who may benefit from additional opportunities and support.
We carefully consider how our Pupil Premium funding is used to meet the needs of our pupils. This may include additional teaching and learning support, enrichment activities, resources and wider pastoral provision, helping to remove barriers to learning and ensure that all children can access the opportunities available to them.
Our school Leadership Team regularly monitors the impact of Pupil Premium spending and interventions to ensure that funding is used effectively and makes a meaningful difference to children’s experiences, progress and outcomes.
