We are all very excited with how our new playground area is coming along. Phase 1 is almost done, and the children will have access to more usable surface space for playtimes and PE in the months we are unable to use the field. I hope you can see from the photos how much work has already taken place in order to get this first phase complete. We would like to say a huge thank you to our FoS for all their hard work organizing so many fundraising events for this project, and indeed others that the school hugely benefits from. We would also like to say a huge thank you to all our wonderful children who have taken on their own events like Paige and Ava in Class 4 who raised money for the playground project by donating their hair to the Little Princess Trust, who make wigs for children who have lost theirs due to medical conditions. They raised an amazing £2136 and still counting! Finally, a huge thank you to all of you, for attending our events and for any donations you have made….THANK YOU!
The fundraising continues with Phase 2, raising money for new climbing equipment. We are looking to raise a further £10,000. Please look out for any up and coming events taking place next term. If you feel you could support this project through a donation or getting involved with the FoS events, please let us know here at school via the office or contacting me directly. Alternatively, you can contact the members of the FoS at hello@friendsofschool.co.uk
Once again thank you
Jeremy Lee
