On Wednesday, our talented Year 5 and Year 6 pupils took to the stage to perform Shakespeare Rocks! in front of proud parents and family members. With performances at both 2:00pm and 5:00pm, the show was a fantastic success and showcased the hard work, enthusiasm and confidence of everyone involved.

Shakespeare Rocks! is a lively and humorous musical that tells the story of William Shakespeare and his struggle to write his next great play. Featuring catchy songs, entertaining characters and plenty of comedy, the production explores how Shakespeare’s imagination helped him create some of the most famous stories ever written.

The cast delivered outstanding performances, bringing energy, humour and creativity to every scene. A special mention goes to Juno, who played the role of William Shakespeare. Juno captivated the audience with a confident and engaging performance, leading the story brilliantly from start to finish.

The audience thoroughly enjoyed both performances and rewarded the children with well-deserved applause. The production was the result of many weeks of rehearsals, dedication and teamwork from pupils and staff alike. A special mention goes to Mrs Marshall, Miss Hannah, Miss Jones and Mr Nicholson for all the hard work they put into the performance too.

We are incredibly proud of all our Year 5 and Year 6 children for their commitment, courage and talent. Shakespeare Rocks! was a memorable celebration of drama, music and learning, and a wonderful experience for everyone who attended.
