We would like to thank all of our volunteers who kindly gave up their time to come into school to talk to the children about their jobs and careers.
We learnt about the role of a pilot, a scientist, a police officer, an engineer, an MP, an anaesthetist doctor, an international banker, a gardener and a music teacher amongst many others. We found out what qualifications and skills we would need to do these jobs, as well as what is interesting, rewarding and challenging about the roles. We could see that our school values of perseverance, pride, respect and kindness are needed in all these careers and jobs.
