Class R - Chinese New Year
Friday 24th January 2020
This week's topic in class R has been the Chinese New Year. The children have made their own dragons which they took it in turns to parade around the hall while their classmates accompanied them on chime bars. Also they made spring rolls which they enjoyed later in the afternoon and they went on a treasure hunt looking for coins which they put in their red pouches that they had made earlier in the day. The children had a wonderful time and learnt a lot about the celebrations of the Chinese New Year.

Class R - Superhero Day
Friday 18th October 2019
Today the children came to school dressed as Superhero characters and took part in a Superhero Day. The day started with a challenge to walk along the walls of buildings, swing from roof top to roof top and jump off high walls. They learnt how to land correctly and roll along the ground.
Later the children completed a Superhero circuit outside and had a phonics challenge. Once completed they were able to fire their web at the phonics wall.
