This morning the Year 6 children presented their DARE assembly to their parents and Class 5. Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) is an education program that seeks to prevent use of controlled drugs, membership in gangs, and violent behaviour and the children have completed this course during the Autumn term. The children presented role plays showing how to resist pressure from others, talked about what they had learnt on their course and finished the assembly off with the DARE song. We are very grateful to the Parish Council who support this programme and Officer Tristram who ran the programme for the children.
