Class R - Ducklings

As part of the Reception Classes curriculum they have had some duck eggs to hatch. Very excitingly this happened on Thursday and the children were able to see and hold the lovely ducklings (and the staff as well!)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Visit from the Cropwell Bishop Cheese Factory to see Class 2

This afternoon Class 2 had an exciting visit from Sarah and India who work at the Cropwell Bishop Creamery. They came to tell the children all about the Creamery and also it's history, they also brought with them some of their traditional Stilton cheese and some White Stilton with Cranberries. The children were able to try both cheeses, some loved them and went back for seconds, however, some didn't like it so much!
